8 Hour Fall Prevention- SST-B307
Course Description– The purpose of this course is to bring awareness level training to workers on how
to avoid falls from elevated surfaces, which has remained one of the leading causes of workplace
injuries and deaths. This course will review how to work safely on ladders, scaffolds, roofs, leading
edges, and other elevated surfaces by following proper safety protocols and utilizing the necessary
guards, PPE and PFAS. By the conclusion of the class, students will gain knowledge and training on how
to work safely around elevated work surfaces.

2 Hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness- SST-B302
Course Description– The purpose of this course is to bring awareness level training to workers on
increase risks of work-related injuries due to substance abuse and working under the influence, and the
affect that these may have on the overall safety of a jobsite. Substance abuse contributes not only to a
number of jobsite injuries, but also overall worker production, worker attendance issues, and employee
misconduct issues. By the conclusion of the class, students will be trained on how to recognize when
someone may be under the influence, and understand the negative effects of drugs and alcohol in the
workplace and how to avoid the consequences of such effects.

4 Hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher – SCA-201
Course Description– The purpose of this course is to bring awareness level training to workers on how to properly and safely use a bakers scaffold including the proper PFAS and PPE to wear while on a scaffold, how to identify and inspect scaffold components and the manner in which the scaffold should be erected as per the NYC Building Code to ensure there are no safety hazards.
